Providing quality medical care for children and adolescents
Experienced dedicated medical assistants who are happy to help our patients.
The practice was started by Dr. John Wilcox in the late 1940's and Dr. Richard Mabie joined him in 1961. Dr. Wilcox retired in the mid-1970's. Dr. Mabie retired in 2000 after 40 years of service to children in the Pomona Valley. Dr. Frederick A. Lauppe joined the practice in 1973 and retired in 2010 after years of service to many children. Dr. Bette-Lee Jablow was part of the practice from 1976 to 1993 before she and her husband relocated to Virginia. Dr. Jablow is now back in the Pomona area and practicing pediatrics with Kaiser.
Pomona Pediatrics has a long affiliation with Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and maintains that association because of the high quality of the facility's inpatient pediatric care supported by inpatient pediatric specialists and its excellent neonatology unit staffed by specialists in neonatal care.
Over the years, our practice has grown and currently includes eight pediatricians.
